Chiropractic does not use drugs or surgery. Rather, a chiropractic spinal adjustment-the application of a precise force to a specific part of the spinal segment-corrects the misalignment, permitting normal nerve transmission and assisting your body to heal on its own.

Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force - known as Qi (pronounced 'CHEE') - believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians your energy flow will re-balance.

Pediatric Chiropractic

Chiropractic adjustments are essential for healthy spine development and optimal nervous system development. Children take minor and major falls while growing up learning to walk and play sports, these can cause stress on the spine. Chiropractic adjustments help prevent injury and speed up recovery times.

Dr. Emily Hollingsworth was born and raised in Newport, Arkansas where she graduated valedictorian from Newport High School in 2006. While participating in sports and cheerleading during high school, Dr. Hollingsworth suffered a back injury which allowed her to experience the benefits of chiropractic care at a young age. After achieving such positive results first hand, Dr. Hollingsworth was compelled to pursue the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Hollingsworth attended the University of Arkansas Honors College, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2010. During her studies, Dr. Hollingsworth was named an Arkansas Space Grant Consortium Fellow while conducting research under the direction of Dr. Tim Kral.

Following her undergraduate degree, Dr. Hollingsworth attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, Kansas, was named to the Dean’s List and conferred the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic in 2014. Dr. Hollingsworth concurrently received Certification in Acupuncture, studying under Dr. Lawrence Beem, a Diplomate of Acupuncture.

In 2018, Dr. Hollingsworth completed the Animal Chiropractic program at Parker University in Dallas, Texas. Followed by passing the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association’s certification program. Dr. Hollingsworth is excited to be able to help all of God’s creatures through chiropractic care.

Dr. Emily Hollingsworth uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient’s lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. Dr. Hollingsworth takes a “whole person” approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. Hollingsworth will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient’s individual needs. Under the supervision and care of our caring and skilled chiropractor, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.
